What it is
Silk momme (this site uses id silk-momme, not momme) is a silk fabric-weight trade unit: 1 momme = 4.3306 g/m². It is not the Japanese mass momme of 3.75 g. Sewing pages never link to mass momme.
How to use
momme × 4.3306 = gsm. Example: 16 momme ≈ 69.3 gsm. The converter above uses the trade factor 4.3306.
