What it is
Silk momme (this site uses id silk-momme, not momme) is a silk fabric-weight trade unit: 1 momme = 4.3306 g/m². It is not the Japanese mass momme of 3.75 g. Sewing pages never link to mass momme.
How to use
gsm / 4.3306 = momme. Example: 69 gsm ≈ 16 momme. The converter above uses the trade factor.

Common uses
